On Wednesday, the St. Louis Blues (33-29-3) return home from a long East Coast road trip to begin a four game homestand at the Enterprise Center. Last week the Blues kicked off a five-game swing in the Northeast, and came back with four points from the trip. That includes a win last time out with a 5-1 victory over the Boston Bruins on Monday. Goalie Joel Hofer stopped 36 shots in that game while right win Kasperi Kapanen led the Blues with three points on a goal and two assists. St. Louis also dominated at the faceoff dot, winning 58.7% of the draws in the game. Now the Blues turn their attention ahead as the Los Angeles Kings (30-22-11) come to town to begin this homestand.

The Kings are coming off of their own five-game homestand. They went 3-1-1 in those games, with wins over the New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators and New York Islanders. That Islanders game was on Monday and the Kings' last time on the ice. They won 3-0, as goalie David Rittich recorded 26 saves for his second shutout of the season in 17 starts.
This will be the third and final game of the season between the Kings and Blues after they split the first two matchups this season. The home team has one each of the first two games, with the Kings taking a 5-1 game in LA on Nov. 18, and the Blues winning 4-3 in overtime in St. Louis on Jan. 28,
